Form Decks

SF Standard Form Deck

SF deck is a 9/16” deep form deck designed primarily for concrete slab support in floor construction. As one of the most economical options in floor decks, it offers reliable performance for short-span applications. In addition to floor systems, SF deck can also be used as a roof deck when paired with lightweight insulated concrete. Its shallow profile makes it an ideal solution where minimal slab thickness and efficient material use are priorities. SF form deck is available in 22, 24, 26, and 28 gauge, with G60 and G90 galvanized finish options to suit various project specifications.

HF Heavy Form Floor Decks

HF deck is a 15/16” deep form deck commonly used in concrete-supported construction, including floors, stair landings, and roof systems. As part of Marlyn Steel’s lineup of high-performance steel decks, HF deck is especially effective in roof applications when combined with lightweight insulated concrete. Designed for spans up to 5 feet, it provides a strong, stable base for short-span structural needs. HF form deck is available in 20, 22, 24, and 26 gauge with G60 or G90 galvanized finishes. Stainless steel options are also available upon request for projects requiring additional corrosion resistance or architectural appeal.

IEF Inverted Extra Form Floor Decks

EF and IEF decks are 1.5” deep non-composite form deck profiles designed for moderate floor loads. These versatile options within the steel deck category are ideal for projects requiring span lengths between 4 and 7 feet. Known for their structural reliability and efficient slab support, EF and IEF form decks are available in 18, 20, and 22 gauge with G60 or G90 galvanized finishes. For enhanced performance in ventilated floor deck systems, vented versions of these profiles are also available.

2.0NCF Non-Composite Form Deck

2.0 NCF deck, also known as 2” non-composite form deck, is designed for use in multi-floor construction where composite action is not necessary. As a durable and versatile option within the steel deck category, it provides reliable support for concrete slabs in structural applications that don’t require composite bonding. 2.0 NCF is commonly selected as a form deck solution in commercial and industrial buildings where simplicity and strength are key. It is available in 16, 18, 20, and 22 gauge, with G60 or G90 galvanized finishes to meet a range of project needs.
